Jujutsu School Ending Guide: Geto Finale Route & True-Ending Status (Spoilers)

Only one ending route in Jujutsu School is documented so far: survive the night shifts at the gate, take Gojo's bell, and ring it through the Geto boss fight. Spoiler-flagged breakdown of the route, the fight stages, the post-ending overtime state, and what is and isn't known about the true ending.

Quick answer

The documented route to Jujutsu School's ending: work your night shifts at the Jujutsu High gate booth, take the bell Gojo hands you before the finale, then ring it through the Geto boss fight until he evaporates. That boss victory is the only ending outcome on record — how many endings the game has, or what selects the true ending, is not documented.

  • Gate shifts are an ID check: only approved sorcerers and teachers may enter, and if something feels off you 'close the shutter door immediately and stay completely still' — but never reject a real student, because every one of them is needed for a highly classified operation.
  • From the next shift onward, grade stamps are added: students of different sorcerer grades arrive and you must apply the stamp for their exact grade.
  • Recorded runs suggest mistakes feed the anomaly instead of instantly ending the run — one player sums it up as the more mistakes made, the more of whatever it is comes out. Whether specific mistakes steer the run toward a specific ending is not documented.
  • Don't plan around a fixed shift count: recorded playthroughs are labeled SHIFT 1-8 in some cases and Shift 1 TO 12 in others, possibly because an update extended the run. Just keep working the gate until the bell handoff happens.

Spoiler warning: everything below names the final boss and describes exactly how the ending plays out. Stop here if you want to reach it blind.

The bell handoff before the finale

Immediately before the ending triggers, Gojo hands you the item the final fight depends on. He describes the threat as cursed energy that "isn't normal" — "pure hatred creeping up in the dark" — and says his Six Eyes sensed Geto's cursed energy outside while his soul knows otherwise. Then he gives you the bell: if you spot anything out there resembling Geto, ring it immediately. By his explanation, the bell disrupts the creature's cursed energy and stuns it long enough for you to survive. Every recorded full run includes this handoff, and the recorded runs reach and resolve the ending with the bell in hand.

The Geto final boss, stage by stage

Roadmap

  1. 1

The mimic arrives at the booth

Recognize that the final encounter has started.

    • Expect the entrance line: 'Pardon the intrusion. There are a few cursed objects here that require my attention.'
    • Note its warning that something grand is taking shape — an accumulation of cursed energy far beyond ordinary human emotion.
  2. 2

    It taunts the bell

Know the boss's claims before committing to the fight.

    • It scoffs that 'mere bell won't be enough to save you' and dismisses Gojo — recorded runs win with the bell anyway.
    • It declares 'My rage exceed even that of infinity.'
  3. 3

    Stun it with the bell

Disrupt its cursed energy to create your openings.

    • Ring the bell repeatedly — recorded players describe the tactic simply as 'just spamming it.'
    • Expect the stun to weaken as the fight goes on.
  4. 4

    Break through the shield phases

Get past each stage where its protection returns.

    • Expect it to regain its shield between stages ('He gets his little shield back.').
    • Keep ringing through the repeat exchanges — a recorded 'Round two' phase repeats the same 'infinity' line.
  5. 5

    Repeat until it evaporates

    Trigger the documented ending.

    • Continue the bell-stun cycle through every round until the boss is defeated.
    • The documented ending plays out at the point of defeat — the sections below cover what follows.

After the boss falls

When the boss is defeated, the recorded result is Geto evaporating — the recorded closing line notes he evaporates along with Seeker, a second character the footage doesn't identify further. The game doesn't simply stop there: recorded play continues into a post-ending state announced as overtime ("Oh, overtime. So, this is after again."), with that player treating the defeat as possibly temporary — "Well, if it comes back, then I'm going to pull up and solo it again." A full walkthrough otherwise ends right after the line "Stand proud. You are strong." Only this boss-victory outcome and the post-ending overtime state are documented; the recorded runs show no different result screen for any other route.

Is that the true ending? What's known and what isn't

The boss victory alone doesn't tell you which ending you received. Right after beating Geto, players in recorded runs are visibly unsure — one asks "True ending?" at the very moment of victory and later closes with "I don't feel like getting any other endings," implying other endings exist to obtain — while other runs treat the same victory as simply the end of the game. So treat the Geto defeat as the only ending currently documented, not as a confirmed true ending:

  • Ending count: undocumented.
  • True-ending requirements: undocumented — no choices, mistakes, shift performance thresholds, or missable steps have been linked to any ending branch.
  • Post-ending behavior: only the overtime state described above is recorded, and it comes from live play, so treat it as the detail most likely to shift with game updates.

What you can rely on is the route itself: survive the gate shifts, take Gojo's bell, and ring it through every stage of the Geto fight until he evaporates — the documented ending plays out from there.
